Patricia A. Hill is the Executive Director of ACTION, Inc. Pat is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a State of Ohio Certified Adoption Assessor who earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Capital University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Pat is the mother of 22 children through adoption and one through long-term foster care! Even after 30 years of parenting, her home is still full! Pat has dedicated her life to seeking permanent homes for children in the care of child welfare agencies.

Mary Tarlano is a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Adoption Assessor in the State of Ohio.  She has over 15 years experience working with children and families and ten years direct experience in foster care and adoptions. Mary and her husband have adopted four children.

Angela Brosh is a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Adoption Assessor in the State of Ohio. She has over eight years experience working with children and families in foster care and adoptions, in both the public and private sectors. Angela is married and has three children. 

Carol Griesdorn is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio.  She leads many trainings and provides invaluable professional expertise to ACTION.  Carol has many years experience at CARE House and a public children services agency.

Professionalism and courtesy by qualified and experienced staff

A weekly Adoptive Parent Support Group (APSG)

36 hours of pre-adoptive training


A comprehensive homestudy for domestic or international adoptions


Networking with child welfare agencies nationwide to match children and families


Counseling and family support as needed


Assistance in adopting through child welfare agencies, infant adoptions and international adoptions 

Supervision and Friend of the Court reports for adoption finalization


Post adoption services, including referrals to area resources 

 
Annual holiday party in November to celebrate National Adoption Month
